My shots, on floatie.page

Turn a capture into a link you can paste anywhere, and check your upload list from any Mac.

A link instead of a file

Right-click a floating shot and copy the link. It uploads to floatie.page, and the address is on your clipboard before the menu even closes. Upload as many as you like — a free link lasts 7 days with 1 GB of storage; Pro gives you 30 days and 10 GB.

Every capture is already uploaded

Turn on auto-upload and new shots go up quietly in the background — no toast, no change to your clipboard. What matters is what comes next: the moment you need a link, it's ready instantly instead of making you wait for the upload. An auto link nobody opens is cleaned up after a day, so a week's worth of screenshots doesn't pile up in your account, and the moment someone opens it, the regular retention period applies.

A link with your name in it

Set an account name, and you can give each link a name: floatie.page/s/yourname/report. The random address stays alive too, so renaming it never breaks a link you've already sent — a custom address is a second door, not a replacement.

Try searching — it finds text inside the images too

A dashboard you view in the browser

Log into floatie.page and everything you've uploaded is there. Search by the text inside the image, rename a link, adjust when it expires, open it on your phone with a QR code, or delete it. The same list shows up in the app's Link tab too.

Controls for a link that matters

Lock a link with a password, make it close itself after the first view, or hide the download button. These are Pro features, but turning them off works on a free account too — a setting you've applied is never locked to a plan.

Nothing here yet

Capture, edit, record, and text recognition all work fine without a network.

What stays on your Mac

Capture, editing, recording, and text recognition all run right on this Mac, inside the sandbox, even with the network off. A shot only goes to floatie.page when you make a link, and that requires a free account (Apple or Google). Delete a link and the image goes with it; delete your account and everything disappears at once.
